Office-Specific Records Retention Schedules
Some University offices/units manage records that are not covered by the General Records Retention Schedule. In these cases, office-specific retention schedules are developed in consultation with the University Archivist.
Before Using a Schedule
Check the last revised date of any office-specific schedule before using it. If the schedule is more than five years old, contact the University Archivist to:
- Include any changes in record series
- Confirm the listed retention periods are still accurate
- Begin updating the schedule, if necessary
You may also want to check the General Records Retention Schedule to see if the record series are already covered there.
