Purchasing Microfilm

Many of the CAC's manuscript collections, certain local government records, and those items in the newspaper guide identified by an asterisk as microfilm may be available for purchase.  However, not all microfilm held by the CAC is available for purchase from us. Please contact the Reformatting Specialist to confirm what records are available before placing an order.

Note on Local Government Records

Many local government records are found on the same roll with another record series from a different office of the same political subdivision. For instance, Supreme and District Court records are often contained in the same volume and are usually microfilmed consecutively on a single roll. Thus, an individual record series may not take up an entire roll of microfilm, or it may be found on several rolls. Please contact the Reformatting Specialist for specific details before placing your order.

Duplication Restrictions

No duplication of the microfilm (except paper copies) may be made without written permission from the CAC. In requesting permission to reproduce from the holdings of the CAC as described above, the requester agrees to hold harmless the Center for Archival Collections, Bowling Green State University and its trustees, officers and agents whether jointly or severally from any action involving infringement of the rights of any person or his/her heirs and descendants in common law or under statutory copyright.
