Rare Books & Special Collections

The mission of the Rare Books and Special Collections Division of Bowling Green State University, University Libraries is to collect, preserve, and make accessible to researchers rare, unique, or valuable materials. The collection is intended to support the research and curriculum needs of BGSU’s students and faculty.  Visiting scholars and the general public are also encouraged to use the collection for research or exploration. The collection is currently divided into four sub-sections: Rare books, Special Collections A, Special Collections B and the Sam Pollock Collection. To find Rare Books' materials, search the catalog.
