Mini Biography: Jamela Strait is the Lab Operations & Instruction Specialist for BGSU's on-campus MLS program. She began her career at Blanchard Valley Health systems’ main laboratory as a generalist and then was appointed the laboratory coordinator role at Blanchard Valleys cancer center in 2019. While being at Armes Family Cancer Care Center, Jamela discovered her passion for helping both patients and coworkers understand the laboratory’s vital role in patient care by working with multiple departments within the system.
