Bio:

Dr. Bradley Fevrier is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public and Allied Health at Bowling Green State University. He started his health career as a First responder at the Saint Lucia Fire and Emergency Services on the island od St Lucia. After seven (7) years at the SLFS department, he completed a Ph.D. in Health Education at the University of Cincinnati in 2016, which allowed him to integrate his expertise in emergency preparedness with health education disease prevention and wellness in Public Health. Dr. Fevrier is a Certified Health Education specialist and before coming to BGSU, he was an Assistant Professor and Health Promotion program coordinator at University of North Carolina at Pembroke in the Department of Kinesiology.

Research Interests:

His research interests focus primarily on the dangers associated with tobacco use and prevention of drug use in community settings; youths’ risk perceptions of conventional, new and developing tobacco products, and the way these perceptions are impacted by pro- and anti-tobacco messages. He is also mildly interested in health promotion through nutrition with emphasis on knowledge dissemination.
