Employee and Retiree Hearing Aid Benefit

The BGSU Speech and Hearing Clinic is pleased to announce a new benefit to employees and their dependents and to retirees and their spouses.

Please inform the receptionist that you qualify for this benefit when you schedule your appointment.

Beginning January 1, 2018, the following benefits will apply:

• The benefit is available to:
             Full-time employees and their legal dependents.  
             Part-time employees and their legal dependents.  
             Retirees and their spouses.

The employee/retiree will receive a 25% discount off the Usual and Customary Charge for hearing aid(s), regardless of technology level. For example, a pair of mid-level technology hearing aids cost $4600/pair. The discounted price would be $3450/pair.

Legal dependents/spouses will receive a 20% discount off the Usual and Customary Charge for hearing aid(s), regardless of technology level. For example, a pair of mid-level technology hearing aids cost $4600/pair. The discounted price would be $3680/pair.

Please inform the scheduling secretary of your status at the time the appointment is made.
