In photos: Volleyball's history-making game

The Bowling Green State University volleyball program is on a historic run, breaking records and clinching the MAC Regular Season Championship.

Before the game versus Akron on Friday, March 19, the team opened the Stroh Center to University photographer Isaiah Vazquez to capture what goes into a game — from practice, to pre-game to the post-game celebration. The Falcons beat Akron with a 3-2 win, after being down 2-1 and battling back in the fourth set to force a fifth where they clinched the victory. With the win, the program advanced to 17-0 in the season, matching the streak set by the 2006 volleyball team.

The win Friday night continues a historic season with a win streak that ties the all-time record for BGSU at 17. The record was previously set by the former men's tennis team in 1964.
