Hudson entrepreneur appointed as BGSU trustee
Ohio Gov. John Kasich has appointed Drew Forhan of Hudson, Ohio, to the Bowling Green State University Board of Trustees. His nine-year term will run through 2026. Forhan is the founder, president and CEO of ForTec Medical, Inc., which was founded in 1988. Read More

President’s Leadership Academy junior Kyle Jumper-Smith this summer organized his second Project Feed Thy Neighbor in his hometown of Detroit. The day of empowerment providing food, fellowship and positivity fed 422 people. Students from BGSU and other schools pitched in, in the spirit of donors Robert and Ellen Thompson.

Dr. Anita Simic, assistant professor of geoscience, and some of her students are hosting a one-day art exhibit that combines science and art. The images are the result of satellite data collected by remote sensing equipment and turned into vibrant, visual images of Earth's features.

STEM in the Park | Sept. 23
More than 150 unique, hands-on STEM activity stations will be offered at STEM in the Park, which will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 23 at Perry Field House.
