Tabacco-Schmidt Scholarship

Created in 2022, the Tabacco-Schmidt Scholarship provides financial assistance to high-performing students with significant financial need, with the goal of helping students complete their degree.

To be eligible a student must be in good standing with the Honors College, must demonstrate high financial need as determined by the FAFSA, be a current resident of the state of Ohio, and be a rising third or fourth year undergraduate. Preference is given to first generation college students. Students with DACA status may also be eligible with a completed FAFSA.

The application includes submission of a 350-500 word essay about their academic goals. Finalists will be interviewed as part of the selection process.

The application is due on February 27th and will be available on AcademicWorks in spring.
