The Honors College provides great opportunities for current students at BGSU. Smaller class sizes in Honors courses, ability to work closely with faculty, and preparing you for life after graduation are a few of the advantages for students in the Honors College.
To be considered for the Honors College all students must first meet with an Honors Recruiter. Schedule a meeting by emailing the Honors College.
After meeting with the Honors College, submit a complete application Continuing Student Application.
Fall semester deadline: July 15
Spring semester deadline: January 1
Any application submitted after the deadline will be considered for the following semester.
Continuing students must have completed at least one semester at BGSU post-high school and have a university cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. BGSU first-year students are eligible to apply at the end of their first fall semester.
CCP students are not considered continuing students and must apply as an incoming student by March 1.
Each student is evaluated individually, and we consider many factors when deciding if a student could be successful in Honors.
