Technical Study: Fire Administration

The Associate of Technical Study (ATS) with a specialization in fire administration is a 100% online program designed for firefighters and paramedics. Applicants must already hold one of these professional credentials, which count for at least 21 credits toward the program’s technical electives.

This degree bridges the gap between your existing professional training and a college degree. It equips you with additional skills to support your career growth and complements your technical expertise with courses in:

  • Fire administration
  • Political science
  • General education

Complete this degree early in your career and you’ll set the stage to continue seamlessly into the bachelor’s program in fire administration offered at the Bowling Green campus. That next step ultimately qualifies you for administrative and leadership opportunities that often arise mid-career and beyond.
