Youth Mental Health First Aid Training
- Training is open to all adults who work with youth - parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, group leaders, coaches and other caring citizens.
- Training will cover common signs/symptoms of mental illness in youth, common signs & symptoms of substance use, how to interact with youth in crisis, how to connect the youth with help
- There is no cost to participate.
- Earn 8 Contact Hours Total, including time for online, independent pre & post work

Urgent Note - Our team recently received notification regarding our grant award, which funds our trainings. The grant has been placed on hold, resulting in an unexpected pause of our project funding. Because this grant covers the costs for our sessions, we are unable to move forward with this training at this time.

The Youth Mental Health First Aid training has a value of $170 per learner. Thanks to a generous grant, learners may attend at no charge. Bowling Green State University’s C2S2 (Mental Health & Wellbeing in Ohio Schools: Communication & Connection for Safe Schools) Preventing School Violence: STOP School Violence Program grant through the Bureau of Justice Administration (BJA) of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) funds this training.
