Margaret Weinberger is a Lecturer and Undergraduate Advisor. She has been teaching sociology at BGSU since the late 1980s and joined the sociology department full-time in 2003. Dr. W. has a master's degree in sociology and a PhD in American Culture Studies. She teaches cultural anthropology, sociological theory, and occasionally social problems, minority groups, and introductory sociology. In her classes, Dr. W. wants to help students learn how to think more deeply about their experiences and their own role in the world. She hopes her students will share her appreciation of the richness of cultures throughout the world and her curiosity about things generally.
