Choral Alumni take charge in 2019

First, we salute Megan Wicks-Rudolph (BM 1994 in Music Education) whose high school vocal ensemble "Just Singin'" performed at the national American Choral Directors Association conference in Kansas City on March 1st. Megan, who earned a doctorate just a few years ago, teaches high school choral music in the Vestavia Hills School District just outside of Birmingham, Alabama.

Daniel Parsley (MM 2013 in Choral Conducting) was a finalist in the American Choral Directors Association National Graduate Student Conducting Contest on the first day of March. From over 100 contestants coming from graduate choral conducting programs all around the county, Daniel was one of four chosen to compete in the final round. He is currently a doctoral student in choral conducting at the University of Cincinnati. This year's national conference of ACDA was held in Kansas City.

Congratulations to both of our awesome Alumni!
