New Music Festival
"Believe it or not, a little town in northwest Ohio is one of the liveliest spots for new music in the whole United States. For 25 years, MACCM has pursued the latest musical ideas and the highest musical standards with fearless vision. Bowling Green students are lucky to have this amazing resource — but so are we all."
~Steven Stucky, 2012

**The Meridian Arts Ensemble was founded in 1987 by students at Juilliard and the Manhattan School of Music. Seeking a meaningful chamber music experience, the young ensemble embarked on an effort to create new works for brass quintet and to play music that was not getting the attention it deserved. The Meridian Arts Ensemble has performed and taught extensively in 49 states, Europe, Asia, and Latin and South America. The group has fifteen CD recordings and one live DVD of commissions, original works, and arrangements on Channel Classics, innova, and 8bells Records.
