Updates to Personal Data and Online Directory
The Office of Registration and Records encourages students to review their contact information regularly in MyBGSU and update it if necessary.
How to update your address, email, phone number
Log in to MyBGSU → Select Update Information button.
How to update your name, Social Security number, other self-reported personal data
How to withhold your information from online student directory
The BGSU student online directory lists an enrolled student’s:
- Name
- Email address
Submit a Request to Withhold Directory Information application if you don’t want your information listed in the directory.
The online directory will be updated within 24 hours once your application is received and processed by the Office of Registration and Records.
