What steps should I take if I am interested in this opportunity?

Contact a BGSU Advisor

Discuss the best way for you to obtain credit that will apply to your intended major. An advisor can provide program outlines showing how a 3-year degree can be accomplished at BGSU. An advisor can help you identify the best ways for you to accomplish the degree requirements based on your interests and circumstances.

You can earn credit hours through the following programs:

  • College Credit Plus
  • Advanced Placement
  • Dual Enrollment Courses
  • International Baccalaureate: subject exams similar to AP
  • College Level Examination Program

Keep in mind!

Students can also accelerate time to degree completion by taking courses in the summer. Summer enrollment may make it easier to accomplish multiple majors, complete a minor, change majors, or participate in study abroad, undergraduate research, or internships, practicums, and coops. A BGSU advisor can help you sort through the options that are best for you.
