How to Find Jerome Library
- Exit at Bowling Green (exit 181)
- Go west on Wooster Street toward town
- Turn right on Mercer Road
- Turn left on Ridge Street
- Jerome Library is the 9-story building on the left with abstract murals on the east and west facades
- Follow Route 25 into Bowling Green
- Turn east on Wooster Street
- Turn left on Mercer Road
- Take the first left onto Ridge Street

Library Access for Visitors
- Lot N is located immediately north of the library
- Accessible parking is available
- Rate: $0.25 per 15 minutes
- Pay at the kiosk or use the PayByPhone mobile app

- Guest computer access is available on Mac computers in the first floor lobby

All Special Collections are open to the public regardless of BGSU affiliation. Please note that each collection operates with unique hours. These specialized collections require different handling procedures and research approaches than the general library collections.
For the most efficient visit, we recommend requesting materials you'd like to view at least 48 hours in advance.

Courtesy Cards
Courtesy cards extend borrowing privileges to non-BGSU individuals, allowing them to check out physical materials from University Libraries collections. Free cards are available to qualifying groups, while others can purchase annual access for $25.
- Borrow from Jerome Library and Firelands Library main stacks
- Access Music Library and Curriculum Resource Center open stacks
- Borrow government documents
- Limited to 5 OhioLINK or SearchOhio items at a time
- Cannot access online resources off-campus
- Photo ID required with courtesy card for all transactions
Available to:
- BGSU alumni
- BGSU family members
- Friends of the University Libraries members
- President's Club members
- Visitors borrowing Government Documents
- Local high school students with school ID
- Note: Those under 18 must have a guardian present to sign the agreement.
- $25 per year for Ohio residents
- Applications available at Jerome or Firelands Libraries Circulation Desks

OhioLINK Institution Visitors
- May borrow by showing their current home institution ID
- Same loan periods and restrictions as OhioLINK borrowing
- Can request items for delivery to Jerome Library
