October
- 10/1 – BGSU scholarship opportunities and application available online
- 10/1 – FAFSA opens
February
- 2/16 – Summer financial aid application available online
- 2/18 – Deadline for submitting admissions credentials (including official ACT or SAT test results) for incoming freshmen who wish to be considered for University Freshman Academic Scholarships
- 2/18 – Last day for incoming freshmen to apply for BGSU scholarships for 2026-27 academic year
- 2/18 – BGSU’s priority FAFSA application deadline for incoming freshman for 2026-27 academic year
- 2/25 – Last day for current students to apply for BGSU scholarships
- 2/25 – BGSU priority FAFSA application deadline for current students for the 2026-27 academic year
March
- Mid- to late March – Financial aid offer notifications begin for incoming freshmen
April
- Early to mid-April – Financial aid offer notifications begin for current students with a completed FAFSA on file
May
- Early May – Master promissory note and entrance counseling available online for first-time federal direct loan borrowers
- Early May – The earliest SFA may begin processing PLUS loans (federal direct parent loans for undergraduate students) for parents who submitted a PLUS Loan application online
June
- Mid-June – Time to submit any pending To Do list items on MyBGSU > Student Center
July
- 7/2 – Fall bills available in MyBGSU Student Center
- Early July – Time to apply for private student loans or Parent PLUS loans to cover remaining fall bursar balances
August
- 8/1 – Payment due date for fall semester tuition (instructional, general and non-resident fees, if applicable), fees and University housing and food
