Scholarships and grants

Scholarships and grants are known as “gift aid” because it’s money you don’t have to pay back.

Loans

Many students borrow money to help pay for college. Loans fall into two categories – federal and private loans.

Jobs

Work 10-20 hours a week through student employment – including federal work-study – and earn $1,400 to $2,800 or more a semester.
