Practicums

CSP Practicums

A practicum is an oppprtunity for current students to gain experience in a different functional area from their assistantship. These can count for class credit or just for the educational experience. Practicums are a large and important part of our program, and we encourage students to take advantage of these opportunities while they can. It is a great chance to learn about different areas, and to increase competencies that may not be present in ones assistantship. Below are some examples of past practicums. The ones in bold are offered every year, whereas the others are dependent on students reaching out to various offices and expressing interest, and seeing if that office could use some help.
