Graduate Assistantships

Types of Graduate Assistantships:

  • Teaching Assistant - Assist faculty in teaching courses for majors
  • Research Assistant - Work with faculty on their research in progress
Graduate Assistantship requirements:
  • Regular admission status to the Human Movement, Sport, & Leisure Studies graduate program
  • Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher OR Graduate GPA of 3.0 or higher (for 9 or more credit hours)
  • Submission of the Graduate Assistantship Application by February 1

Other Funding Sources for Graduate Assistantships:

  • The School of Human Movement, Sport, & Leisure Studies has approximately 14-18 assistantships annually
