3. CSS/HCM/FMS PeopleSoft get Current/PeopleTools upgrade

Description: Information Technology Services (ITS) will conduct its PeopleSoft CSS/FMS/HCM Get Current 2024 and PeopleTools 8.60.11 upgrade beginning at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 15 and ending no later than 6 a.m. on Monday, March 18. During this time, an outage will occur to the Campus Solutions (CSS)/Student Center, Financial Management System (FMS) and Human Capital Management (HCM) applications. If so, the Bowling Green State University Master of Public Administration (MPA) might be the degree for you.
Applications received by March 1 are considered for funding, including partial tuition scholarships and graduate assistant positions.
Fast Facts about our program:
- The BGSU MPA requires just 36 credit hours and can be completed full-time or part-time or in the evenings.
- Our program combines theory with real-world projects – our students have done projects for NASA and state and local governments in Ohio and beyond.
- All majors are welcome, we have no undergraduate prerequisites. We have had students in the program who majored in interior design, environmental science, psychology, computer science, international studies, political science, fashion design, biology, education and more.
- Applications are also accepted on a rolling basis, with a final deadline of July 1 for Fall admission and Nov. 1 for Spring admission. A limited amount of funding is still available for applications received by March 1.

6. Peru Service Learning Trip

Description: MEDLIFE will be hosting an annual service learning trip (SLT) this spring! This is a great opportunity to travel and gain service hours. During the trip you will be helping low-income families access the healthcare that they need, support their community and also have a chance to participate in exciting excursions! This trip is open to all majors, you do not need to have any medical experience to attend.

9. Warning: Don’t approve Duo notifications you didn’t prompt!
Description: Please do not approve Duo authentication requests if you are NOT actively attempting to log in to a Duo-protected service (Canvas, MyBGSU, etc.).
Hackers can use your stolen usernames/passwords to initiate Duo prompts. Approving these prompts gives hackers access to your accounts!

Join the designers of WBGU’s eclipse activity book for kid-friendly fun under the stars of the BGSU Planetarium. The content is directed at elementary-aged children, while BGSU astronomers will be ready to answer adult questions about eclipses and viewing safety. 5. Understanding and Combating Islamophobia: How to Create a Safe Space & Support Our Campus Communities

Description: This session will be an interactive presentation that will provide a safe space and opportunities for conversations about Islamophobia and its origins, the impact it has had and still has on Americans and government policy and what we can do to combat it.
This session will help those in positions of leadership in any capacity whether they are educators, DEI directors or employees/employers to recognize the basic principles of Islam, understand the demographic of Muslims worldwide, identify the root causes of Islamophobia and the impact it has had. Attendees will be able to apply tools learned from the session to help combat Islamophobia and how to create safe, welcoming and inclusive spaces.The event is organized and sponsored by the Graduate Student Senate, with financial support from the Division of Inclusion and Belonging.
