Ever read a story on the news about a child who was abused or neglected? Ever wish you could do something to help? Consider volunteering with Wood County CASA and make an impact in a child’s life today. CASAs are matched with a child or children in the same family who are involved with the court system for abuse or neglect. They get to know the child(ren) and family so they can advocate for the child(ren) within the court system. Volunteers need to be at least 21, and the commitment is 3-10 hours per month, which varies based on changes in the case. There is a virtual information session this Friday, Dec. 3, on Facebook.

Hackers are using two factor authentication to gain access to restricted services and information by using stolen usernames and passwords, and initiating approval requests via Duo. Out of habit, or unknowingly, users may approve these notifications without a second thought, which gives hackers access to their protected data.
