Planetarium presents Winterfest 2018


The BGSU Planetarium continues its Winterfest 2018, a revival of classic Planetarium shows running through the first week of March. The Planetarium is in the Physical Sciences Building. A $1 donation is suggested.

February’s presentations are:

• Destination Universe: The Future of Space Exploration, 2 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 3)
• Cosmic Catastrophes: Colossal Threats to Life on Earth, 7:30 p.m. Sunday (Feb. 4)
• The Light-Hearted Astronomer: The Joys of Sky-watching, 8 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 6)
• The Endless Horizon: Exploring the Earth and the Universe, 8 p.m. Feb. 9
• Serpents of the Sun: Ohio’s Ancient Mounds, 2 p.m. Feb. 10
• Saving the Night: Fighting Light Pollution, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 11
• Through the Eyes of Hubble, 8 p.m. Feb. 13
• Comets Are Coming! 8 p.m. Feb. 16
• Star Stealers: A Whodunit Mystery, 2 p.m. Feb. 17
• Planet Patrol: A Planetary Mystery for All Ages, 8 p.m. Feb. 23
• Don’t Duck – Look Up, for the youngest visitors, 2 p.m. Feb. 24
• Hubble’s Universe: The Best of the Space Telescope, 8 p.m. Feb. 27 and March 2
