Students of Color in Business
Purpose:
The goals of the Organization include, but are not limited to, the following:
To promote and develop the professional skills of our members;
To encourage and assist students of color in entering the business profession (i.e. accounting, finance, supply chain, information systems, management, marketing, and economics);
To provide opportunities for members to fulfill their civic responsibility;
To provide adequate resources to implement chapter, regional, and national programs;
To represent the interests of current and prospective minority business professionals;
To provide a community of collaboration for members within the Schmidthorst College of Business.

Welcome to Students of Color in Business!
We are a diversity and inclusion business organization that aims to empower students of color through professional development, networking opportunities, and access to resources that will build their confidence and skill set.
Our mission is to prepare students of color for succcess in their future careers by providing guidance, support, and opportunities that promote their growth and advancement. As a member of our organization, you will have access to a range of resources, including:
- Professional development workshops and seminars that will enhance your skills and knowledge in your chosen field.
- Networking events with industry professionals, alumni, and fellow students that will allow you to expand your professional connections.
- Company presentations and recruitment events where you can learn about job opportunities and connect with recruiters.
- Social events that offer opportunities for fun and relaxation, while also fostering connections with like-minded students.
