Shanell Calmese

My name is Shanell Calmese, and I am currently a fourth-year student here at Bowling Green State University. I am from Detroit, MI which is about ninety minutes north of Bowling Green, OH.

Within the Schmidthorst College of Business, I am pursuing a specialization in Information Systems. While being a Student Ambassador for the Schmidthorst College of Business, I am a Scholar of the Sidney A. Ribeau President’s Leadership Academy, Social Media Chair for Anchored on Campus and the Owner/Operator for my hair business, KnotlessByNell.

During my free time, I enjoy reading, resting, and traveling! My favorite quick trips are to Chicago to eat or back to Detroit to visit friends and family.

While at the Schmidthorst College of Business, I am eager to learn important skills that will give me the opportunity to be an asset to my community and portfolio as a professional during my college years and after.
