Executive MBA (EMBA) Recruits a New Cohort of Impactful Leaders

We are delighted to welcome the new cohort of executive MBA students arriving in the fall semester. The EMBA students have an average of 12 years of progressive career experience and represent a diverse range of companies and areas of professional expertise. Companies represented include JP Morgan Chase, Greenleaf Trust, Fiat Chrysler-Stellantis, First Solar, Kuhlman Corp., Owens Illinois, Materion, O-I, the American Chemical Society, Libbie LLC, Thyssen Krupp and others.

The EMBAs will engage in classes one weekend per month for 20 months in the Robert W. and Patricia A. Maurer Center. The cohort will have the opportunity to immediately apply the concepts they are learning in their workplaces.

The diversity of the executives participating in the program provides a rich learning environment with case studies and examples from their daily lives. We will also pilot a new program to connect these leaders with our undergraduate students through specific engagement opportunities designed throughout the program. This will further enhance the impact of these leaders and our undergraduate learning experience. An interesting trivia fact is that BGSU was the first university in Ohio to offer the executive MBA format designed to enable senior-level career professionals to earn a world-class MBA while actively contributing to the leadership of their organizations.
