Cooperative Education Program
Nationally Accredited by the Accreditation Council for Co-op and Internship (ACCI)
The College of Technology, Architecture and Applied Engineering's Cooperative Education program integrates classroom study with work experiences. All students in the college participate in the Cooperative Education program, requiring one to three semesters of full-time co-op experiences (dependent on their major) prior to graduation. The Cooperative Education Program has strong connections with employers and in conjunction with the Kuhlin Hub for Career Design and Connection, faculty mentors, and academic advisors assists students in writing resumes, developing interview skills and searching for co-op opportunities.
- Spring 2025 Co-op Dates: January 13-May 6, 2025
- Summer 2025 Co-op Dates: May 19 - August 8, 2025
- Summer 2025 Co-op Registration will open in unison with summer open registration in mid-February
- Fall Co-op Dates: August 26 - December 13, 2024

Students should register their co-op before the first day of the semester and should plan to work at their co-op during the dates that correlate with the academic semester in which they are registered for their co-op (fall and spring 15 week session, summer 12 week session).
Management and Technology and Quality Systems (e-Campus) students follow a different protocol for their co-op requirement and should consult with their e-Campus academic and faculty advisors regarding their specific co-op requirements.
