BGSU is at the forefront of upskilling industry professionals in advanced manufacturing. We are the only public university in Ohio offering short-term training at no cost through the state’s Individual Microcredential Assistance Program (IMAP), funded by the Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation. We can design custom non-credit training for your team.
BGSU’s microcredential training curriculum in advanced manufacturing was developed and is led by top-tier faculty members in the School of Engineering, in collaboration with industry partners. So far, 150+ industry professionals have been trained, following tracks in robotics and automation or smart manufacturing.
