In the past few years, on one hand India is seen as fastest growing economy in the world, but on the other hand there is growing concern about democratic backsliding and rising income inequality. This talk will sparse out the trajectory of India’s evolution as a democratic country and lay the foundation for some of the challenges faced by the country.
