5. Psychology Building, Physical Sciences, and Lot Y Closures

As a final part of the Technology Infrastructure Project, through 4 p.m. today IPS contractors will have a large type crane set up to remove mechanical equipment from the Psychology Building, requiring the closure of Lot Y for PSLB parking. Evacuation of Psychology through 4 p.m. will also be required. PSLB will remain open. This additional work is related to construction activities necessary for the total conversion of the building to Central Plant supplied chilled water for air-conditioning. This work is scheduled to be completed by the end of May.

Please refer to BGSU’s Interactive Campus Map for additional details.

This project installed chilled water lines across Campus last summer, to provide chilled water to campus buildings for their air conditioning needs.
