Greetings!

Welcome to the start of another academic year! We are excited to welcome approximately 533 incoming freshmen, a strong increase from last year. In addition, we welcome new chairs, faculty and staff who now call BGSU home, along with several new members of the Leadership Council.

The college has a busy fall planned, with a series of events that connect our students, faculty, and alumni.

As we look forward to another academic year, we want to congratulate nearly 200 students who graduated in August. We are pleased that 77% of our job-seeking graduates had a job at graduation, with an average starting salary of more than $54,000, among the highest in Ohio. This demonstrates that our graduates find jobs and high paying ones.

Enjoy reading this issue of Biz News that features success stories about students, faculty and alumni as well as the new faces we welcome this year.

It’s great to kick off another year of achievements! I hope to see you at one of our fall events!

Best,
Dean Ray Braun ‘80
