Adolescence, broadly defined as the transition from childhood to adulthood, is associated with numerous changes in the brain and behavior. This is also a period during which many psychiatric disorders tend to manifest. Emerging evidence suggests that within the adolescence period, the onset of puberty may be the critical catalyst for changes in the brain that rapidly alter behavior, making some more susceptible to psychiatric illness.

Join us in person or via Zoom for this amazing event! Juniper Brewing Company will be hosting us at 6 p.m. All will be welcome to eat, drink and chat about all things science! After the talk, audience members can ask Jari any questions they may have.
