Anastasiia is originally from Mykolaiv, Ukraine, where she completed her BA in English Translation at Petro Mohyla Black Sea State University. She attended Ohio University and received her Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics. Anastasiia has taught International Russian, Introduction to Linguistics, and other English classes including Academic Writing, Speaking and Listening, and English for Specific Purposes. Anastasiia’s research interest area are CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning), multicultural awareness, and motivation.

Fernanda was born in Italy and became an ESL learner at the age of six. Her interest in language learning continued. She received a Ph.D. in Foreign Language Education from Ohio State University. She has studied and taught Spanish, Italian, and ESL in higher education. Her ESL teaching experiences include intensive English courses and spoken English courses for prospective international teaching assistants.

Amy Cook

Amy is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she completed a BA in Languages and Latin American Studies. She also holds an MA in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Arizona, where she taught first-year composition classes for American and international students. At BGSU, Amy teaches ESOL, TESOL, and UWP classes.
