Jodi Fall
Jodi Fall joined Bowling Green State University (BGSU) in 2004 after a decade of industry experience, where she worked her way through undergraduate and graduate school. She held roles at companies such as Eaton Corporation (formerly Aeroquip-Vickers, Inc.) and Owens Corning, where she applied her skills in multimedia technologies and earned a Sarbanes-Oxley Implementation Award. She completed her Master of Education in Career and Technology Education, with a focus on Training and Development, in 2003 at BGSU.
At BGSU, she initially worked in the College of Technology co-op office, supporting students through workplace evaluations and building employer partnerships, while also teaching evening classes at Owens Community College. Later in 2004, she became a full-time lecturer in the visual communication technology program, teaching courses in video, interactive media, and design, while also serving as an academic and co-op advisor. She contributed to curriculum improvements and built strong relationships with students, while also assisting with summer orientation and registration efforts for five years.
Throughout her career, she has been recognized for her excellence in teaching and advising, earning the President’s Advising Award and the Most Responsive Teacher Award in 2007. She has served on advisory boards and in leadership roles, including Interim Assistant Director of Cooperative Education in 2015. She also developed innovative teaching approaches, such as a freshman course featuring real-world industry projects, and expanded into online teaching in 2017, working with non-traditional students in management and technology program.
In addition to teaching, she contributed to institutional initiatives, serving as Internet Content Coordinator for nine years and as the visual communication technology program coordinator for a year, contributing to the successful ATMAE reaccreditation of two bachelor’s programs through 2028. Over her 19-year career, she has taught multiple courses, participated in committees, and engaged in professional development. In 2023, she mentored an honors book project that led to the student earning a state-level recognition, demonstrating her continued commitment to student success and applied learning.
In 2022, she began her administrative career as Department Chair for Visual Communications and Technology Education. This was a one-year appointment, as the department was scheduled to be integrated into the School of Engineering in the subsequent academic year.
In 2023, she was appointed Associate Dean for Facilities and Operations, where she served as the college’s primary liaison to multiple university departments and Mosser Construction. In this role, she led coordination efforts for the development of the Engineering and Innovation Center, a state-of-the-art, 24,000-square-foot facility featuring seven engineering laboratories designed to replicate real-world engineering environments.

The design process for the facility commenced in Fall 2023 and included a series of collaborative meetings over the following year with stakeholders from the college, campus planning, and the Collaborative design team. Construction of the new addition, along with renovations to the existing building, began in Summer 2024 and was successfully completed in Spring 2026. During this period, she also collaborated with faculty representatives on approximately $5 million in equipment acquisitions, coordinated faculty and laboratory relocations, hired two new college technicians, oversaw daily college operations, and led updates to marketing materials for the college, its schools, and academic programs.
After four years in administrative leadership, she chose to return to a full-time faculty role in the Management and Technology program in 2026.
