1. "What Were You Wearing?"

Join the CWGE and The Cocoon on April 13 and 14 in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union room 309 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for “What Were You Wearing?”

As part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month programming, The Cocoon will display their exhibit “What Were You Wearing?” to dismantle the rape myth that sexual violence happens because of what someone was wearing. This display has been created based on real survivor stories and actual depictions of the clothing that they were wearing.

This event features stories of those who have been impacted by violence and may share details of traumatic experiences. Take the time to process how these images may impact or trigger you.

5. Student survey - HLC accreditation

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) is the institutional accreditor of BGSU. To remain accredited with HLC, BGSU must undergo a comprehensive evaluation every ten years. BGSU staff is developing the reports for this evaluation, which will culminate with an on-site peer review visit October 17-18. As part of the comprehensive evaluation, the HLC conducts an online survey of BGSU’s student body. The survey is intended to give students an opportunity to participate in the evaluation process and to help peer reviewers identify questions they might ask while on site.

The link to the survey was sent via your BGSU email. The survey closes on April 13. While your participation is completely voluntary, we do encourage you to submit your feedback. The results of the survey will be available for the peer reviewers and BGSU administration September 2022.

Looking to deepen your accreditation knowledge? Check out this Bridge 101 course and our latest newsletter.
