3. March Spirit of BG award winner – Erica Mills

Congratulations to Erica Mills from the Office of Admissions! Erica is the winner of the March Spirit of BG Award! Erica was nominated by TWO of her colleagues: Matt Studenmund and Katie Barker. Here’s a bit of what they had to say about Erica:

“There is no one who exemplifies what it means to be a BGSU Falcon more than Erica. From being a two-time alumna to planning over 250 events for prospective students, Erica has gone above and beyond in making sure that every person who steps foot on campus understands the uniqueness and community that surrounds BGSU.” - Matt Studenmund

“When you say "Spirit of BG" it's impossible to not think of Erica Mills. Erica is our event planner in the Office of Admissions - while her role has evolved and she does so MUCH more than plan events from start to finish; she exemplifies the Spirit of BG in all the work she puts into these campus events for prospective students and families. We are so lucky to have her not only in the Office of Admissions but at BGSU!” - Katie Barker.

Thanks for your hard work, Erica!

Nominate someone today →

We all know when someone goes the extra mile to help; however, this person often goes about their day with little or no fanfare to acknowledge their "good works." Now you have the opportunity and means to thank that person. If the person you nominate is selected, they will receive $50, public recognition from colleagues and friends, and a certificate of appreciation.
