1. BGSU Police training today and Friday

The BGSU Police Department will be conducting training within the Administration Building during normal business hours today and Friday. During that time, members of the campus community may notice a large police presence in the area and should not be alarmed. Additional signage will be placed in the area advising the community when this training is occurring.

2. Recycle Right With Us BGSU!

More people returning to campus means more opportunities for reducing waste and recycling. "Know Before You Throw" anything into a recycling container please.

We want to avoid the phenomenon of "wish" recycling, where items not listed on our signage are placed into recycling containers: A fan, rubber bathing cap, paper towels, package of gum and clothing are all examples of things placed into recycling containers lately that are huge contaminants.

Consult the signage on containers first, and place ONLY the things listed on the signage into containers: Plastic bottles; cans; office paper/newspaper; glass bottles/jars. Cardboard (flattened with packing materials removed) goes OUTSIDE in orange cardboard dumpsters. Thank you for your help! Questions? Contact greenbg@bgsu.edu.

This year, bikes are available immediately, (during the time our garage is open) and you need not wait until classes start. Only $39 for the semester, or $69 for the academic year, which includes free mechanic service! We are just half a block from campus and offer a number of makes, models and sizes of bikes. Avoid vehicle traffic and parking; get fresh air and exercise, and help the planet! See bgsu.edu/bikerental for application process. Questions? Contact Campus Sustainability at greenbg@bgsu.edu.
