Greetings!

Fall semester has been a whirlwind of activities. This issue of Biz News highlights our exciting events, including Homecoming. We are excited to share news about rankings. In the 2020 Best Undergraduate Business Schools ranking by U.S. News & World Report, our business program jumped 32 spaces or 16%. The College ranks #167, up from #199.

In addition to the business school ranking, BGSU as a university ranks #3 in the country for teaching quality among America's public universities according to The Wall Street Journal and Times Higher Education. These rankings demonstrate how we offer students a high quality business education!

As we move through the fall, we look forward to our Women in Leadership Conference, finalizing our E-week plans for spring, and accepting applications for The Hatch® 2020. Speaking of Hatchlings, a 2015 Hatchling, Elsa (Vogel) Vos, launched her Pieces of Me business through alumni investor support during The Hatch®. A segment about her business is scheduled to be aired on NBC’s “Today with Hoda and Jenna” on November 4, 10 a.m. It will be national visibility for her business and the college’s Hatch® program!

Enjoy Biz News and see how the College is going beyond business as usual!

Best,
Dean Ray Braun ‘80
