MICROFILMING AND PAPER CONSERVATION SERVICES

cac-preservation

Since 1975 the Center for Archival Collections has microfilmed many of its endangered and deteriorating collections. Through its archival microfilming services, the CAC continues to microfilm newspapers, local government records, and manuscript collections on a regular basis. The laboratory also extends its programming to the public, local government agencies, historical organizations, and libraries on a contract basis. Contact Allison Brandeberry, Reformatting Specialist at arbrand@bgsu.edu for additional information or to setup an appointment.

Paper conservation services include the repair, washing, deacidification, and encapsulation of paper documents. Custom-made enclosures are available. Please contact Eric Honneffer, Conservator/Manuscript Specialist at fhonnef@bgsu.edu for additional information or to setup an appointment.
