BGSU Printing Re-Implementation

BGSU’s contract with its existing printing vendor, ComDoc, has expired and the university has released a request for proposals (RFP) to the public to solicit bids from print management vendors. The goal of this RFP is to find a solution that matches the University’s current printing needs.  

BGSU has worked with ComDoc for 14 years and a lot has changed since this contract was initiated. In 2010, BGSU had 2000 printing devices and 70 million prints per year.  In 2018, we reduced to 565 devices and in the 2023 fiscal year, BGSU completed 10.5 million prints. With a new printing solution, we can match the number of printing devices to our current printing needs and continue to improve campus sustainability efforts. 

If the RFP is successful, changes will occur over the summer to be ready for the start of the fall 2024 semester.
