Important changes coming soon to MyBGSU Employee pages


On May 5, 2024, Information Technology Services (ITS) will introduce design changes to the MyBGSU Employee pages that will enhance the user experience by providing user-friendly access from most devices. 

These changes will be implemented across several pages, including the main Employee, Faculty, and Advising pages. Employees will notice the new changes on their MyBGSU Employee page as well as other pages located within HCM. Students will not see any changes at this time unless they also have an Employee affiliation.

Employees can look forward to seeing quick view cards, like the current Student Center, which provides easy access to all available details associated with the specific tile/topic.

Please note: If your department currently references the Employee, Faculty, or Advising page or links in MyBGSU in PDFs, documents or webpages, this information will need to be reviewed to accurately reflect the new names and locations.

Project Details


The Fluid user experience is an innovative update that enables a modern, more mobile experience for Employees and Managers. The implementation of Fluid Employee self-service (ESS) and Manager self-service (MSS) functionality, replacing exiting Classic views and functionality, will enhance the MyBGSU experience and user communities.

The project team consists of members from Human Resources, Payroll, Marketing & Brand Strategies, ITS, and a partnership with Sierra-Cedar.

Go live will take place the weekend of May 5, 2024. More precise details will be available soon.
