2. Expand your world ... learn a language!

Become a global citizen and start learning a world language this spring! If you've not had any language experience and are ready to start something new, you may register for any 1010-level without taking the placement test! Beginning level languages offered this spring: French (FREN 1010), German (GERM 1010), Italian (ITAL 1010), Russian (RUSN 1010) and Spanish (SPAN 1010).

If you have a high school background in a language, don't delay ... skills get rusty if you don't use them! Take the online Language Placement Test for Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian or Spanish to see which level you need to start at.

Already have some college credit for a language? You don't need to take the placement test to continue to the next level. Questions? Contact your faculty advisor/mentor or visit the World Languages and Cultures webpage.
