The transition to college often presents emotional challenges. It's Real follows six students who wrestled with mental health concerns, sought treatment and found their own sense of balance.

The BGSU Origami Club will be giving out origami valentines at the Student Union. The table will be set at the BGSU Student Union from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11. You can get an origami rose or heart valentine! We would really appreciate any club donations through Venmo!

The Women’s Tennis team is back at home for the second straight weekend. They will take on Findlay at Perrysburg Tennis Center this Sunday. Matches are scheduled to start at noon. Come join the tennis team in Perrysburg on Sunday. Admission is free for tennis matches.
The Office of Multicultural Affairs runs a biweekly "hot topics" series to engage BGSU students, faculty and staff from varying backgrounds and social identities to engage in difficult discussions based on current events, pop culture, structural inequalities, new policies/laws and much more. Our next hot topic will be a discussion of what the American Dream looks like to different people, who it may have been meant for and whether it exists.

Undergraduate students who (1) are 18-25 years old, (2) are at least sophomores, (3) are full-time students, and (4) are not double majors are invited to participate in an online study about how individual interests might predict academic outcomes. This study will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. Beginning Feb. 2, the first 100 participants to complete the survey may enter their information in a separate form to win a $5 Amazon gift card.

In this workshop, we will discuss and explore effective Canvas features and teaching strategies that can help you create collaborative spaces and inclusive learning experiences in your online and remote course.

The Division of Research & Economic Engagement is pleased to distribute this call for nominations for the 2022 Olscamp Research Award. This honor is awarded annually to a member of the BGSU faculty for outstanding scholarly or creative accomplishments during the previous three-year period. For purposes of this award, these accomplishments may be understood in terms of refereed presentations of scholarly papers or publications (books, monographs, externally funded grants and contracts, articles, etc.); musical compositions/arrangements or concerts/recitals, dramatic or visual artworks presented at national or international meetings or exhibitions; patentable or licensable discoveries or creations of major significance.
Nominations will be accepted any time on/or before Feb. 25 by the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research (OSPR) as an email attachment to ospr@bgsu.edu.
