Joseph Boggs explores how northwestern Ohio, southeastern Michigan, and southwestern Ontario residents navigated Prohibition and the demand for illicit alcohol. In particular, Boggs analyzes how the rise of automobiles affected the success of law enforcement and smugglers alike.

Books will be available for sale at the event.
