The rhetoric and writing program at BGSU encourages you to study, teach and use rhetoric and writing to change both your lives and the lives of students. Our program helps you:

Prepare to teach writing at a number of levels, including middle school, high school, AP, dual enrollment (like Ohio’s College Credit Plus program) and two-year colleges
Evaluate writing approaches and writing pedagogy
Develop curricula for writing courses in particular contexts
Write about writing research and practice
