When You Move Out, Don't Throw It Out (WYMO)

Residence Hall Lobbies, Greek Townhouses, Union Lobby, Market Locations

Donate clothing, non-perishable food, and anything else still useable to benefit those in need in WYMO collection boxes! Boxes will be in place until the Res Halls close for the year. For more details on acceptable items, visit: bgsu.edu/wymo

Annual Eco Fair

Wednesday, April 10 | 11 AM - 2 PM

Outside Education Building - North

See live animals (Bald Eagle, Hawks, Owls, reptiles, flying squirrels, etc.), try slacklining, grab a free plant, see electric vehicles, checkout environmental information tables and displays, and more! The location is the outdoor corridor on the north side of Education. We will NOT be in the Union Oval this year, but just down the sidewalk from it. Don't miss this free event!

Bloomfest

Saturday, April 13 | 5 - 9 PM

Maurer Center Atrium

Free live music, games, educational tables and firepits! Food and raffle tickets for great prizes available for purchase. Don't miss this amazing event co-sponsored by Environmental Action Group and Music Industry Club.

Slippery Elm Trail Bike Tour

Sunday, April 14 | 1 - 4 PM

Begins from Reed St. Bike Garage

Join us on a free springtime bike ride as we embark down the Slippery Elm Trail and back with the Outdoor Adventure Club. The start of the bike ride will be from 517 E Reed St, the BGSU Bike Rental Garage. Helmets encouraged. Weather dependent. No bike? We have some FREE rentals available. Register and let us know if you need a bike or will be bringing your own!

Last Day of WYMO

End of Day, Saturday, April 27 | When Buildings Close at 10 AM

Residence Hall Lobbies, Greek Townhouses, Union Lobby, Market Locations

Before you move out, be sure to donate any and all unwanted items to BGSU's WYMO program where it will get new life going to a charitable organization or as an item in the Campus ReStore next year.

Items that WYMO collects include:

  • Clothing/shoes of any kind
  • Non-perishable food (use up those extra falcon dollars to buy food to donate!)
  • Personal items/toiletries
  • Electronics and kitchen appliances
  • Household items
  • Books
  • Games
  • Sporting goods
  • Small furniture
  • Decorations/whatnots
  • Cleaning/office supplies
  • ANYTHING still usable that anyone who is moving out of their residence hall, Greek townhouse, or apartment is willing to donate!
