Information Technology Services (ITS) plays a key role in supporting the University's effort to establish an environment in which the application of technology enhances and improves teaching, learning, research, and university operations. ITS provides technical support for all institutionally-owned computer systems. This includes several large-scale minicomputers, campus servers, workstations and desktop computer equipment in public labs and department offices. The department is also responsible for overseeing the installation and ongoing maintenance of the campus network and the campus phone system. In order to provide customer service for all faculty, staff and students who use these technologies, the Technology Support Center was established as our primary point of contact.

The regular hours of operation for our administrative offices located in 209 Hayes Hall are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Extended hours of service for computer-related questions and problems are available through the Technology Support Center.

The Technology Support Center has posted an enhanced version of their Self Help pages which now also includes all ITS Publications. You will find a link to it at the top of all our web pages.

Included in the Self Help pages are the online support pages for the new Exchange E-mail system.  Select E-mail (Exchange) from the pull-down menu to see our main support site and Outlook, Entourage or Outlook Web Access (OWA) for a support site dedicated to those e-mail clients.

For information about wireless connections at BGSU, see our Networking web site.

To find operating instructions for using classroom technology prepared by the Classroom Technology Working Group, see Classroom Technology - Listing by Classroom.

For information about student positions available, see our Student Job Opportunities page.

Information Technology Services assists University offices or departments with the purchase or lease of desktop computer equipment.  Get more details. Those who want to purchase computer equipment for personal use should contact the University Bookstore.

If you are new to BGSU and need an introduction to our services, see Resources Available to the BGSU Community.
