BGSU Kuhlin Hub for Career Design and Connections awarded for excellence in providing quality student career services

Hub recognized for its holistic approach and dedication to excellence in student career services

As one of the many comprehensive offerings through Life Design at Bowling Green State University, the Michael and Sara Kuhlin Hub for Career Design and Connections was recently recognized for its commitment to providing quality career preparation and support for students.

Less than a year after its opening, the Kuhlin Career Hub was honored on April 23 with the Career Services Pursuit of Excellence Award by The Career Leadership Collective during the organization's annual conference in Austin, Texas. Selection for the award is based on the collective’s recognition of an organization's holistic approach and dedication to excellence in career services.

As part of the award, the Kuhlin Career Hub at BGSU was recognized for excellence in career services strategic planning, career staff leadership development, career outcomes data analysis and visualization, scaled and equitable career services and career team professional development.

Located in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union, the Kuhlin Career Hub at BGSU is setting a new standard for inclusive career design support by helping students launch successful, fulfilling careers. As a facilitator of corporate partnerships at BGSU, the Kuhlin Career Hub also makes meaningful connections with companies and alumni to benefit students with internships, co-ops and employment opportunities through the Falcon Professional Network.
